BFRI website (www.fri.gov.bd) has been made and maintained by own technical assistance of  ICT Cell.

BFRI has made the web portal with both Bengali and English language. Now it is a part of the largest web portal (www.portal.gov.bd) in the world and BFRI is incorporated with it as a first organization among the Ministry of Fisheries & Livestock (MOFL) institutes.

Local Area Network (LAN) has established and maintained for all scientists/officers of BFRI. Internet connectivity was established at BFRI server room from BTCL through optical fiber and provided 50 internet connection to all scientists and officers by own server of BFRI. We are trying to increased bandwidth connectivity from 1 mbps to 5 mbps through optical fiber network from BTCL.
